Acer’s subsidiary Acer Gadget and Startbit have jointly proven Jcard 2., a NFT (non-fungible token) platform for listing and transaction of vogue, leisure items/providers and arts, according to Acer Gadget president Allen Jong.
For Jcard 2., Acer Gadget and Startbit have enlisted style and enjoyment brokerage service company Catwalk Production Home, Taiwan Academy of Wonderful Arts and Tokyo Chuo MuChunTang Auction.
The platform is intended to strengthen application of metaverse, which will want cross-domain assets, internationalization and globalization, cooperation among the authorities companies, industries and tutorial businesses, Jong noted.
Being a startup established in 2017, Startbit specializes in building application plans for enterprises’ blockchain apps. The organization launched Startbit Ex, the first decentralized exchange in Asia, in 2018 and has made STO (security token presenting) and NFT platforms. Startbit was invested by Taiwan’s Countrywide Progress Foundation in July 2019 and by Acer in February 2022.
Metaverse consists of numerous factors, which includes AR/VR/XR, wearable gadgets, little-dimension providers of providers, game titles and IP, Startbit CEO Sway Teng pointed out.
The business enterprise model for Jcard 2. is characterised by listing costs for experienced IP and 5% of transaction revenues as brokerage price, Teng observed. Listing prices vary, depending on IP disorders, Teng indicated.
Other than the Taiwan current market, Jcard 2. will be promoted in Southeast Asia, China, Japan and South Korea, Teng explained.
